May 11 The Thunder defeated the Northeast Red Sox 5-0 at Dief. Daniel Revering threw 6 scoreless innings with Jaxon Raffey closing it out. Carter Tarnowski made a great diving catch in centre field. The Armadillos opened their season with a strong 10-5 win over the Red Sox at Dief. Amy Johnson set the tone allowing just two base runners through three dominant innings. The game turned in the top of the fifth when Bosch ripped a clutch three-run triple to give the Dillos the lead. Evan Ginther added insurance with a two-run homer in the 7th. Hoss came on in relief and picked up the win, holding the Red Sox in check as the offense piled on. It was a complete team effort as the Dillos start the year 1-0 with eyes on building momentum.Week #1
