In A Division action at Leakos it was the Armadillos over the Rangers, 6-2. Egan Wieler threw a complete game for the win and hit a triple and an in-the-park HR. Sheldon Parentau added a couple of hits in support of the win.
Also in A Division action, it was a comeback for the Rhinos, who trailed the Rockies 5-2 early on, but the pitching of Grant Alexander allowed the Rhinos to claw their way back into it. Mitch McNally hit a clutch RBI double in the top of the fifth to tie the game 5-5. The game was called due to darkness after 5 innings and resulted in a 5-5 final.
In B Division action it was the Cardinals over the Skunks by a score of 16-4 at Stonebridge South in 5 innings. Cardinals received pitching contributions from Brett Lindsay, Andrew Gentes and Jonathan Ikert to obtain the win. The offence was led by Derek Marshall who went 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs.
The Tigers / Cannons game is rescheduled to Thursday, July 14 at Stonebridge South.
Tuesday, May 17 - Results
In A Division action it was the Rockies over the Rays, 6-2, at Leakos. Carter Rain is credited with the win going the distance for the Rays. Rain allowed no walks and no earned runs.
In B Division it was the Sabres over the Hanley Sox, 12-5. Justin Tehse earned the win with 7 innings pitched, allowing only two earned runs and striking out 9. Jonah Ginther went 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs to lead the offence.
Also in B Division it was the Expos over the Reds, 9-7, at Stonebridge North. Darren Pellering went the distance for the win.
At Diefenbaker it was the Sluggers over the Skunks in a 16-14 slugfest. Brayden T. hit a 3 run HR and Danny R. added and inside the park HR. Alex O. was the winning pitcher.
Monday, May 16 - Results
In A Division action it was the Selects over the Armadillos by a score of 11-5 at Stonebridge South. Calvin Foltz picked up the win by throwing four solid innings.
In B Division action at Diefenbaker it was the Tigers over the Cardinals, 7-5, in a close contest. It was the Jamie Jantzen show, as he pitched 7 complete and got 7 Ks along the way. Jantzen also paced the offence with a triple and a single. Brian Hubbard picked up 2 RBIs in the effort.
Also in B Division, it was the Cannons over the upstart Peelers by a count of 6-1. Mike Hertz is credited with the win going six innings and striking out 5.
And in the final B Division contest, it was the Angels over the Sabres, 4-3, at Leakos. Jason Blommaert went 7 innings, striking out 9, and Dan Fortosky led the way for the offence with 4 hits, 4 RBIs and 2 stolen bags.

Sun., May 15 - Results
In A Division action at Leakos it was the Thunder over the Brewers by a score of 11-0 in a 5 inning game. Jaxon Raffey pitched the complete game for the victory earning the shutout with 7 Ks.
In B Division action it was the Reds over the Peelers by a 14-8 margin. The Reds are undefeated after their third contest of the year.
At Stonebridge North it was the Hanley Sox over the Sluggers in a close 11-10 affair. Sam Brown was the winning pitcher for the Sox, who claimed their first win of the new season.
At Diefenbaker, it was Jeff Sauter who took the mound for the Rangers, the first start in 25 years for Sauter, who threw three scoreless for the win over the Northeast Red Sox. Cory Hall finished the game giving the Rangers the 8-0 shutout.
In the early game at Diefenbaker it was the Northeast Red Sox over the Rays by a score of 8-3. The Red Sox reported great pitching by Devin Gerwing and Jordan Wouters and a nice SMBL debut at the plate for Davis Chorney.

Thurs., May 12 - Results
At Leakos the Reds downed the Skunks by a score of 15-5. Taylor Sharpe earned a complete game victory earning double-digit strikeouts in the effort. Joshua Koturbash led the offence with 3 RBIs.
At Diefenbaker it was the Sabres over the Peelers by a 7-5 margin. Caleb Williams earned a complete game victory by throwing 12 strikeouts. On the offensive side of the ball, it was James Owens going 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offense.
In A Division action it was the Rangers over the Rockies at Stonebridge North by a score of 10-6. Darren Johnson threw a complete game for the Rangers and Dustin Emberley led the offense with two doubles and 3 RBIs.
In the other A Division contest it was the Armadillos over the Rays by a score of 6-2. Hoss Mukanik had a bases loaded single in the first in which all three runners scored. Egan Weiler pitched 4 strong innings yielding only 1 hit and one earned run to earn the victory.
