At Stonebridge South the Angels and Cardinals met in game 1 of their second round series in the B Division playoffs. Jason Blommaert of the Angels faced off against Derek Marshall of the Cardinals in a close game. The Angels ended up prevailing over the Cardinals, 7-4. Blommaert went the distance, striking out 13. The offence was led by Jason Blommaert, who went 2 for 2 with a double, triple, walk and 3 RBIs. Dan Fortosky also added a double and a triple. Derek Marshall went the distance for the Cardinals, striking out 10 in the losing effort. The teams will meet for game 2 on Tuesday at Leakos.
At Leakos it was the Thunder over the Selects, 2-0, in the opening game of their A Division series. Jaxon Raffey was lights out on the mound, going 6 scoreless, and Ayden Annala earned the save. Jordan Gerwing provided the offence with 2 big hits, a run scored and an RBI. Game 2 of their series will go Tuesday at Dief.

At Cairns Field it was the Sabres over the Tigers in game one of their second round match-up, by a score of 10-6. Caleb Williams pitched 3 innings of relief, striking out 8 to close out the game. Liam Dyck and James Owens were each 3 for 4 to pace the offence.
At Mocon Field in Martensville it was the Rangers over the Brewers, 5-1. Cory Hall threw a complete game for the Rangers to earn the win. Garret Olver paced the offence with a key 2 out, 2 RBI single, while going 3 for 4.
