At Dief the Cardinals ended a 4 game losing streak by edging out the Expos, 3-2. Jon Ikert took a no-hitter into the fifth, striking out 11 in a complete game win, allowing only 3 hits. The Expos pitcher, Noah Perrin, stymied Cardinals hitters until the 4th when the Cards strung together 3 hits, scoring three runs. Billy Gherasim scored the winning run on a passed ball.
