Friday, June 24

Thursday, June 23

The game at Leakos between the Rockies and Rays was rained out in the 3rd inning.

The June 23 games are rescheduled as follows:

Rockies vs. Rays to July 22 at Stonebridge South

Rhinos vs. Brewers to July 26 at Stonebridge South

Skunks vs Reds to July 12 at Stonebridge South

Wednesday, June 22

At Diefenbaker it was the Thunder over the Armadillos, 11-1, in 5 innings.  Payton McHarg went the distance for the win, striking out 11 along the way.  Thomas Bollefer went 4 for 4 to lead the offence.

At Leakos it was the Sabres over the Hanley Sox, 7-2.  Caleb Williams went 5 innings in the victory, striking out 6 and allowing no earned runs.  Williams was also 3 for 4 at the plate and a homerun short of the cycle.  An honourable mention goes out to Mike Owens, who, coming out of retirement, went 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Tonight's games at Stonebridge were both canceled due to wet field conditions.  They are rescheduled as follows:

Cannons vs. Tigers is rescheduled to July 24 at Stonebridge North.

Sluggers vs. Cardinals is rescheduled to July 27 at Diefenbaker.

Tuesday, June 21

At Leakos the Peelers defeated the Skunks, 19-9.

The other games were canceled due to wet field conditions.

Rescheduled games for June 20 are as follows:

Tigers vs. Angels to July 19 at Stonebridge South

Armadillos vs. Rhinos to July 15 at Stonebridge South

Cannons vs. Cardinals to June 29 at Stonebridge North

Rescheduled games for June 21 are:

Reds vs. Expos to July 6 at Stonebridge South

Rockies vs. Brewers to July 15 at Stonebridge North

Rays vs. Selects to July 20 at Stonebridge North

Monday, June 20

Sunday, June 19

At Leakos it was the Brewers beating Northeast by a score of 5-2.  Brady Fornwald threw a complete game and had two RBIs.  Jamie Coates added two hits and an RBI in the victory bringing the Brewers record to 9-2 on the season, firmly putting them in second in the A Division.

In the other game at Leakos it was Northeast over the Rays by a score of 9-6.  Tyrell Nicklin got the win for Northeast, backed by solid defense at shortstop by Tyrell Pompu.

At Diefenbaker the Tigers and Sabres played to a 15-15 tie before the game was called due to darkness.

At Stonebridge North it was the Reds doubling the Sabres, 6-3.  The defense was sharp behind Taylor Sharp, who picked up the complete game win.

At Stonebridge South it was the Rangers out-dueling the Thunder, and ending their unbeaten streak at eleven, by handing them a 1-0 loss.  The pitcher's duel between Darren Johnson and Jaden Raffey was decided by an RBI bunt in the third by Jeff Sauter, which plated the Rangers only run to win the contest.  The Thunder remain in first place in the A Division, a game and a half ahead of the Brewers.  The Rangers are in third with a record of 8-4.

Friday, June 17

At Stonebridge North the Expos rallied from an early deficit to walk off the Peelers in the 7th 8-7. Darrien Pellerin went 6 strong with Jason McCrea coming in for the win.

At Diefenbaker the Brewers beat north east 7-4 as Josh Brown threw a complete game. Mark Dodds and Kyle Gregoire each score 2 runs and Taylor Robb and Jamie coates each had two rbis. 

Thursday, June 16

At Leakos it was the Angels running away with a win over the Skunks by a count of 14-4.  Ben Hall went 4 innings and struck out 6 on his way to the win.  Tate Dormuth collected 3 RBIs and pitched 2 innings with 5 strike outs.  Kyle Bergenser, Jody Hauta and Trent MacLean each had 2 RBIs.

At Diefenbaker it was the Sabres over the Peelers in a slugfest, 20-14.  Caleb Williams and Jared Stratechuk were each a homerun short of the cycle and Liam Dyck had a breakout game with 5 RBIs.

At Stonebridge North it was the Cannons over the Expos by a score of 6-2.  Devin Collins pitched the complete game for the win.

At Stonebridge South it was the Tigers running away with it over the Hanley Sox by a score of 18-8.  The winning pitcher was Cam Enns with 4 innings pitched and 5 strikeouts.  Casey Caplette went 6 for 6 with 4 RBIs.  Brad Baron had two doubles and a single with 3 RBIs.
