May 8 In the opening game for the SMBL 2025 season, it was the Thunder over the Rockies, 17-7, at Diefenbaker. Trent Marien started the game with a 3-run, homerun. May 11 The Thunder defeated the Northeast Red Sox 5-0 at Dief. Daniel Revering threw 6 scoreless innings with Jaxon Raffey closing it out. Carter Tarnowski made a great diving catch in centre field. The Armadillos opened their season with a strong 10-5 win over the Red Sox at Dief. Amy Johnson set the tone allowing just two base runners through three dominant innings. The game turned in the top of the fifth when Bosch ripped a clutch three-run triple to give the Dillos the lead. Evan Ginther added insurance with a two-run homer in the 7th. Hoss came on in relief and picked up the win, holding the Red Sox in check as the offense piled on. It was a complete team effort as the Dillos start the year 1-0 with eyes on building momentum.

May 12 The Cannons beat the Tigers 6-5 in walk off fashion. Carson George had the game winning single with two out in the bottom of the 7th. Craig Kilshaw got the win in relief. The Angels 6 Hanley 4. Jason Blommaert went 7 with 11k's for the win ,Jacob Hall lead the offense with 2 triples ,Dan Fortosky had 2 rbi At Dief it was the Cardinals over the Skunks, 9-2, in the season opener. The Cardinals were pitched to the victory by 4 different pitchers, amassing 6 strikeouts and allowing only 4 hits. Billy Gherasim lead the way offensively with 3 RBIs. Jon Ikert was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored. May 13 Open night for the Expos seen hits from everyone on the team as they won over the Rhinos 8-2. May 14 Rangers and Brewers ended up tying 9-9 in 6 innings. Lyle Evanisky knocked in 5 runs in his Ranger debut. Mark Dodds had 3 RBI for the Brewers. Angels 9 Tigers 2. Jared stratechuk and Jacob Hall combine for the win. Kyle Bergenser and TJ Rihani each had 2 hits.

    May 15, 2025

Rangers came back on the Rockies to score 9 unanswered to win 9-2
Jeff Sauter broke them game open in the 4th with a 2 run single. Logan Eckhoff got win relief. Jake Hersikorn and Garret Olver got 2 hits each for the Rangers. [A]


Reds beat expos 6-2
CJ Weber went the distance picking up the win. [B]


Cannons over the Skunks 21-5 in 5 innings
Drew Ivan went the distance for the Cannons in the win. [B]


At Dief it was the Cardinals over the Rhinos, 16-4, in 6 innings
Derek Marshall earned the win with 5 Ks in 4 innings, while allowing only 1 run on 3 hits. Jack Gherasim and Jon Ikert came in to close the door in relief. The offense was lead by Brennan Dunbar and Simon Gentes, each going 3 for 3. [B]



    May 14, 2025

Thunder win 9-5
Adam Knaus had a deep RBI triple and also closed out the last two innings on the mound allowing no runs. [A]


Rangers and Brewers ended up tying 9-9 in 6 innings
Lyle Evanisky knocked in 5 runs in his Ranger debut. Mark Dodds had 3 RBI for the Brewers. [A]


Reds beat Hanley 18-1
Taylor sharp went the distance picking up the win and everyone contributed on offence. [B]


Angels 9 tigers 2
Jared stratechuk and Jacob Hall combine for the win. Kyle Bergenser and TJ Rihani each had 2 hits. [B]

Open night for the Expos seen hits from everyone on the team as they won over the Rhinos 8-2
